About this notice
This notice describes how the Alnitak Engineering website handles information. Enquiry submission is disabled pending confirmation of the publisher identity, privacy contact and data-retention arrangements. The enquiry processing below applies when the form is enabled.
Language preferences
The website uses a first-party ALNITAK_LOCALE cookie to remember your English or French preference for up to one year. Browser language is used when no preference has been saved. You can remove the preference through your browser settings.
Project enquiries
The form collects your name, company, business email, country, optional phone number and project details to assess your request and respond. It also records your acknowledgement of this notice. Do not include sensitive personal data or confidential project information. No file upload is provided.
Email delivery
When enabled, Resend delivers your enquiry to the designated Alnitak Engineering mailbox and sends a receipt to your email address. The receipt does not repeat your project details. Enquiries are not stored in an application database; they remain subject to the confirmed mailbox and email-provider retention arrangements.
Abuse prevention
Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions for automated abuse and receives the submitting IP address for verification. Upstash stores temporary, cryptographically derived identifiers for IP and email rate limits, rather than the original addresses. These identifiers expire after 15 and 30 minutes respectively; an anonymous global counter expires after one hour.
Cookies and measurement
No advertising or analytics scripts are used. Turnstile is loaded only on pages with an enabled enquiry form. Its verification process may process browser and device information to distinguish human requests from automated traffic.
Retention and privacy contact
The publisher’s privacy contact, enquiry retention period, hosting arrangements and any international data-transfer arrangements require confirmation before collection is enabled. Those details must be published here so visitors can request access, correction or deletion of their information.
