ALNITAK ENGINEERING / ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Protection, Control & MV Switchgear
Close the gaps between protection requirements, switchgear drawings and equipment interfaces. Alnitak supports the review and coordination needed to prepare MV systems for manufacture, testing and commissioning.
Discuss a projectWhen to involve Alnitak
- Relay, CT/VT and control requirements are spread across multiple documents.
- Interlocking and signal interfaces need agreement between vendors.
- Open technical comments are delaying FAT or site readiness.

Scope questions
What documents support an effective interface review?
Typical inputs include the SLD, protection philosophy, relay list, CT/VT data, control schematics, signal lists and vendor drawings. The review boundary should identify which equipment and responsibilities are included.
Does review support include equipment approval?
The assignment defines technical review, recommendation and checking responsibilities. Formal approvals, manufacturer obligations and any regulated sign-off remain with the parties identified by the project.
